Summary

ACHA has responded to the consultation on the draft Australian Medical Research and Innovation Strategy 2026 to 2031 and Priorities 2026 to 2028. ACHA's response calls for health access, rural and remote research participation, community involvement and research translation to be more clearly reflected in Medical Research Future Fund investment. The recommendations reflect ACHA's role in supporting the generation, translation and application of evidence to improve health access outcomes across under-resourced communities.
